These players are ideal partners to Bley´s deep lyricism and atmospheric approach to music. The album includes twelve relatively short pieces, composed by all four participants, and played in solo, duet, trio and quartet settings. Altogether a magnificent album, although not an easy listening experience to less refined listeners. These are the moments worth living for in music!
