RICK WAKEMAN ~ NO EARTHLY CONNECTION UNIVERSAL JAPAN 9295 ~ UK ~ Progressive Rock 5th solo album from 1976. After 4 extravagant epics from Six Wives to King Arthur, this is a much more `laid back` album and perhaps one of his best works of that period. The seven-piece bands that recorded the album (called the English Rock Ensemble) is tight and supportive and the methaphysical subject matter (yes it is another concept album) is well suited by the music.
