ECHOLYN ~ WHEN THE SWEET TURNS SOUR SYN-PHONIC 15 ~ USA ~ Progressive Rock 5th album (recorded 1996). Echoyn are considered one of the best US Prog groups ever. They recorded 2 brilliant albums and an EP album in the early 1990´s, which are still regarded as some of the best albums of the genre. For their next (4th) album they signed with a Major (Sony), who `locked` the album immediately after release. This was so frustrating for the band that they decided to call it quits, releaseing this collection of demos and unreleased material as a sort of protest. Fortunately they were to re-unite 5 years later!
