Continuing the Medieval atmosphere of the two previous albums, but adding a harder edge and electric guitar, which made Blackmore famous anyway, this is the strongest album by the group so far. Ritchie´s wife Candice NightFind albums by this artist handles the vocals with the usual charm. People who loved the two earlier albums will enjoy this for sure.
BLACKMORE`S NIGHT ~ SHADOW OF THE MOON CANDLE LIGHT 001 ~ UK ~ Classic Rock 1st album by this reincarnation of the great rock guitar hero Ritchie Balckmore`s new group. Quite a shock to his fans, as this is totally acoustic and mostly old music from the middle ages. Beautiful and moody with nice vocals from Ritchie`s wife Candice Night. Some support from good friends like Ian Anderson makes it even better.

A combination of original tracks and arrangements of early English music. Ritchie`s playing shines brightly, as ever.
