Endless writings on the subject already detailed the intricacies of this prophetic music, the unearthly talent of Hendrix and the significance of this album in music history, so I won´t bore the reader with my meager explorations on the subject. Suffice to say this was one of the first recordings that truly turned me on and made me realize that Rock can be a creative, meaningful and significant musical experience. I´ve never stopped to listen to this album in the last 43 years since its release and I have no intention to do so up to my last breath.
