The album presents six tracks, all co-composed by the duo, with a playing time slightly over half an hour. The music is based on strong melodic themes and incorporates various ethnic influences from numerous cultures, as indicated by the tracks’ titles (and the album’s title), each referring to a different city. Most of the melodic content and the improvisations are carried by Alesini, while Cosentino is in charge of the background harmonies and rhythmic continuity. The music moves often into a meditative mood, close to Ambient aesthetics. The album offers a pleasant listening experience and is obviously accessible to a wide audience, from Jazz-World Fusion enthusiasts to listeners who like cross-genre explorations spiced by exotic rhythms. Clearly both musicians have a lot of experience and knowledge to put the music together in an attractive setting. Overall, this is something for listeners searching for the lighter side of the Jazz esthetic, with added value of World and Ambient elements, which offers a relaxed and pleasing listening experience, without compromising the value of the music.

This is European Prog at its best with strong jazz influence and alternative approach, same as many other Zeuhl & RIO artists. Time only emphasizes how good this music was when recorded and how well it keeps.

This great CD includes not only the original album but also a live EP and even more live material. Delicious!
