HEAD POP UP ~ TOKUSEN BURARI TABI
POSEIDON 002 ~ JAPAN ~ Progressive Rock

Recorded: 2002 Released: 2002

1st album by brilliant Japanese quintet Head Pop UpFind albums by this artist, which includes two keyboard players Hiro WadaFind albums by this artist and Michi MayangayiFind albums by this artist (who also doubles on accordion), guitarist Atsushi IwasawaFind albums by this artist, bassist Teruro MikamiFind albums by this artist and drummer Hisashi AbeFind albums by this artist. Each of these players is an excellent instrumentalist and they all know their stuff, which makes this group a true marvel. The music is absolutely soaked in keyboards, moving swiftly between Prog, Fusion and Jazz, with vengeance. Emerson, Lake & PalmerFind albums by this artist sound like kindergarten kids compared to these guys, I kid you not. Blessed also with a keen sense for great melody and dynamic arrangements, this album is a Prog heaven and I wonder why so few people know about this album. This is an absolute must for any keyboards Prog / Fusion fan.
