Recorded: 1969 Released: 2009

1st album by the legendary Dutch group Earth And FireFind albums by this artist, who were considered the "Continental" answer to Pink FloydFind albums by this artist and GenesisFind albums by this artist. This debut album is still very psychedelic, but starting with the next one they will enter the Prog genre proper. Led by the brothers Chris KoertsFind albums by this artist (guitars) and Gerard KoertsFind albums by this artist (keyboards) and fronted by singer Jerney KaagmanFind albums by this artist, Earth And Fire were surely one of the most interesting European groups. This album has a Roger DeanFind albums by this artist cover. Highly recommended!

EARTH AND FIRE ~ TO THE WORLD OF THE FUTURE
ESOTERIC 2279 (Barcode: 5013929737921) ~ NETHERLANDS ~ Progressive Rock

Recorded: 1975 Released: 2011

This is the 4th album by the great Dutch Prog group Earth And FireFind albums by this artist, kept similar to their earlier efforts. After some personnel changes, the group is still fronted by the great female vocalist Jerney KaagmanFind albums by this artist and includes brothers Chris KoertsFind albums by this artist (guitar) and Gerard KoertsFind albums by this artist (keyboards), who are responsible for the music. At that point the group is still very much at its creative peak and constitutes a Continental answer to British Prog groups, which dominated the scene. This is a classic Symphonic Prog, with great melody lines and plenty of interesting instrumental work, which should keep every Prog fan happy. Definitely worth investigating!
