KEYES ~ THE KEYES GEAR FAB 233 (Barcode: 645270023320) ~ USA ~ Classic Pop Recorded: 1964- 1971Released: 2008 A collection of recordings spanning eight years by the obscure US (Louisville) band The KeyesFind albums by this artist, which is a good example of Pop with Psychedelic influences. Playing self-penned material and using vocal harmony and great instrumental work as well as instrumental arrangements, the band had a potential to achieve at least some fame, but similar to many other bands of the period never really made it. Although obscure, this material is as good as anything recorded at the time and deserves to be re-discovered. Wholeheartedly recommended!
