The trio plays their interpretations of standards composed by Irving BerlinFind albums by this artist, definitely a "strange" choice by musicians usually associated with Free Jazz / Improvised Music. Although Berlin´s memorable melodies are being stretched and stripped down to the bone by the trio, their magic is still there for the trained ear. Enthusiasts of the genre will find this both fascinating and stimulating, as these are superb players and improvisers doing what they do best. Recommended!
