Fisher was influenced by many contemporary classical composers and not afraid to try the many electronic keyboards that just appeared on the scene, which of course is reflected on this album. Great compositions and beautiful performances dominate this sadly little known gem. By some strange coincidence the band recorded this album in Italy, where it was released by the local branch of RCAFind albums on this label Records. Although a second album was recorded, it was shelved by the label and released only years later. The band disbanded shortly after the album was released. In retrospect the album is quite impressive and years ahead of its time, with brilliant keyboards work and complex compositions. The extended suite, which gave the album its title, is an expanded multi-part musical journey, which occupied the entire B-side of the original LP. Definitely worth investigating and hopefully will be re-discovered by the Prog fan of today.

MORGAN ~ THE SLEEPER WAKES ANGEL AIR 049 ~ UK ~ Progressive Rock 2nd album from 1973 by this excellent and sadly little know UK Prog group led by the keyboards player Morgan Fisher. It was recorded at the same studio in Rome as the debut, only a year later, but not released commercially until a few years later, as it was consided `too advanced` for the time. A myriad of early electronic keyboards used here.

	SPIRIT OF JOHN MORGAN ~ SPIRIT OF JOHN MORGAN REPERTOIRE 4351 ~ UK ~ Progressive Rock 1st album from 1969 by this UK group. Blues based mixture of psychedelia and rock, very interesting and obscure. Heavy organ and great guitar. A pity this is not more widely known - oneof those hidden treasures.
