VOICEPRINT 353 (Barcode: 604388319329) ~ UK ~ Canterbury Scene

Recorded: 2003 Released: 2004

Gong MatricesFind albums by this artist is a collaboration of GongFind albums by this artist members, Gilli SmythFind albums by this artist and some of the members of the US Prog band AzigzaFind albums by this artist. They all met at the 1999 Prog Fest and later played together, but it took untill 2003 to record this album. As expected, the music is a wild mixture of Psychedelia and Prog with Gillis`s extraordinary vocals as the icing on the cake. Gong and Mother GongFind albums by this artist fans will love this stuff madly.

MOTHER GONG ~ THE OWL AND THE TREE
VOICEPRINT 278 ~ UK ~ Canterbury Scene

2nd album from 1990. Mother Gong was of course one of the many off-shot bands comming from the original Gong, this one being led by Gilli Smyth. Daevid Allen joins the group for this album and splits the vocal parts with Gilli, as well as contributing some of his songs. This is one of the best and most focused efforts to come out of the Gong camp from that troubled period.

MOTHER GONG ~ TREE IN FISH
VOICEPRINT 281 ~ UK ~ Canterbury Scene

1991 album by Mother GongFind albums by this artist, which includes some studio and some live recordings from their 1991 US Tour. Gilli SmythFind albums by this artist is accompanied by a group of excellent musicians, including Harry WilliamsonFind albums by this artist and Robert CalvertFind albums by this artist. She creates the usual `unusual` mixture of poetry and sound, utilizing her unique voice to the max. This album was not available for a long time and now finally it`s back to many fans` delight.
