Recorded: 1971 - 1972 Released: 2007

2nd album by the excellent British Prog band PaladinFind albums by this artist formed by drummer Keith WebbFind albums by this artist and keyboardist / violinist / vocalist Peter SolleyFind albums by this artist (who was also the band’s main composer), both ex-members of the Terry ReidFind albums by this artist backup band. Together with guitarist Derek FoleyFind albums by this artist, pianist Lou StonebridgeFind albums by this artist and bassist Peter BeckettFind albums by this artist they created a formidable outfit, which played interesting, often Jazz influenced strain of Prog. The band used exotic rhythm patterns and expanded instrumental improvisations, with vocals used sparingly, although those are excellent as well. Some of their music sounds like a British version of SantanaFind albums by this artist due to the usage of Latin rhythms, organ and guitar solos. Altogether this is quite excellent music, which unfortunately failed to gain much attention at the time, which led to the group’s demise following the release of this album. Recommended!
