YEZDA URFA ~ BORIS
SYN-PHONIC 20 ~ USA ~ Progressive Rock

Recorded: 1975 Released: 1990

1st album by what many consider as the best first generation of US Prog band Yezda UrfaFind albums by this artist. Originally recorded as a demo album, it was released in a very limited pressing and soon became a legendary sought-after collector`s item, untill its release on CD. The group was aware and influenced by the UK Prog scene, but created a unique and more complex approach to Symphonic Prog, with dramatic tempo changes and intricate compositions. A true classic of the genre!

YEZDA URFA ~ LIVE – NEARFEST 2004
DANGER DOG 1001 (Barcode: 884501340991) ~ USA ~ Progressive Rock

Recorded: 2004 Released: 2004

The one-time reunion of the brilliant US Prog group Yezda UrfaFind albums by this artist, which recorded and released a couple of superb albums in the 1970s, resulted in their Nearfest Festival performance, which was recorded and released on this album. Thirty years later their music still sounds brilliant and remains some of the best ever created by a US Prog group. They can still play of course and although the lineup is slightly different from the original group, this one work amicably. This is a fantastic tribute to the old times and a perfectly valid piece of music by itself, which any Prog fan should definitely check out!

YEZDA URFA ~ SACRED BABOON
SYN-PHONIC 08 ~ USA ~ Progressive Rock

Recorded: 1976 Released: 1995

2nd and last album by Yezda UrfaFind albums by this artist. A more matured and organized album then the debut (recorded just a few months earlier) it lacks some of the spontaneity, but adds even more sophistication and musical genius. Undobtedly one the highest achievments of US Prog in the 1970s and an outstanding example of originality and inventivness. What a pitty they never managed (not surprisingly) to get a recording contract and leave a much bigger heritage. A classic!
