2nd album by the brilliant Azerbaijani pianist Aziza Mustafa ZadehFind albums by this artist. This time she appears in the piano trio setting - the best platform for any pianist. AZIZA MUSTAFA ZADEH ~ SEVENTH TRUTH
COLUMBIA 484238 ~ AZERBAIJAN ~ Jazz

Recorded: 1996

4th album by the wonderful pianist / singer from Baku / Azerbaijan. Aziza Mustafa ZadehFind albums by this artist returns to a more intimate setting on this one - accompanied only by the Indian percussion player Ramesh ShotamFind albums by this artist - she spinns and twists her intricate eastern-influenced melodies playing her heart out. The performances are full of passion and fire, as well as mystical sadness and melancholy. The cover picture created a lot of stirr, especially in her native country. A treasure!
